What is DDAC?

The Drug De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) is a 15-bedded residential facility running with the support of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. The objective is to provide preventive and rehabilitative services for drug addicts, alcoholics, and other substance abusers in Dhanbad and all neighbouring districts and blocks.

Who We Serve

We serve individuals dependent on alcohol, Bhang, Ganja, Brown Sugar, Intravenous Drug Users (IDUs), and other substance abusers in Dhanbad district and its neighbouring areas.

Our Staff

Qualified, trained, experienced and motivated staff are delivering services as per the needs of each beneficiary, project objectives, and the minimum standard project guidelines.

2024–25 Impact

In 2024–25, around 181 addicts as Beneficiaries and Clients received benefit from our services, covering Physical, Social, Psychological, Economic, Health, Legal, Vocational and Occupational rehabilitation.
